Update the recipients included in the list

Once you have created a list, you will be able to update it by means of adding or removing recipients. This is explained in detail in this article.

Add new recipients

You can add new recipients to an already existing list. In order to add more recipients to the new list, you have to click on the list row.

Then, you have to go to the ADD RECIPIENTS tab. An empty table ready to show new recipients is displayed. Here you will be able to import the recipient's information the same way you did during the first import, with a difference. This time the column names are already loaded and cannot be changed. So, it is expected that the new recipients contain the same columns (or merge tags) as those originally imported.

Delete recipients

If there are recipients that worsen the behavior of your list, it is interesting to  clean your lists by deleting them. This way, the quality of your list will be increased, improving the deliverability of your campaigns.

You can delete recipients from an already existing list. For that purpose, you have to click on the list row.

Then, you have to go to the SHOW RECIPIENTS tab. All your active recipients' information will be displayed in the table, adding an extra column including the status of each recipient. Here you will be able to select one or more recipients and delete them by clicking the corresponding DELETE button.

⚠️  REMEMBER: There are four possible recipient states: active, hard (bounce), complaint, unsubscribe. Remember that only active recipients can receive your emails, as explained in the article related to list status.
